Here’s my collection of video recipes:
VEGAN PINAKBET STEW:
Here’s an easy, hearty stew called Pinakbet where traditionally the star of the dish are the vegetables. The traditional version does have a little bit pork but I easily replaced it with tempeh. If you bought my vegan bagoong, feel free to use it in this dish. If you don’t have vegan bagoong, you could easily use soy sauce or tamari

VEGAN RICE PORRIDGE AKA “LUGAW”:
My ultimate favorite soup is a Filipino Rice Porridge called Lugaw (“loo-ghao”). It’s usually with chicken or beef, but for this episode, I’ll show you how to veganize it.
Plus! I’m also veganizing its famous condiment traditionally called “Tokwat Baboy” (Tofu & Pork). You wanna know how? Please feel free to check out the video!
VEGAN SISIG:
Sisig is a traditional “pulutan” or dish that goes well with alcoholic drinks (beer pairing). It has become one of the most popular and trendiest Filipino dishes out there. Filipino restaurants even now offer Sisig burritos, Sisig tacos, even Sisig Pizza! On this video episode, I’ll show you how to veganize this dish without losing flavor, texture, and even fattiness.
VEGAN MENUDO:
In case you’re not familiar with Filipino Menudo, basically it’s a stew of pork, liver, and vegetables cooked in tomato sauce and paste. Compared to the latin version, Filipino Menudo is more savory, mild sweeter, and not spicy at all.
VEGAN MUNGGO STEW:
Munggo Guisado (“moong-goh gee-sah-doh”) is a savory hearty dish that’s packed with proteins that will keep you full and satisfied. Not to mention, it’s delicious! Its main ingredient is, you guessed it, mung beans. Another main ingredient is tofu so this dish is easily veganizable.
VEGAN PANCIT PALABOK:
Pancit Palabok is a savory Filipino noodle dish full of flavor and texture. It’s great for parties, potlucks, and get together. Bringing this to your party will reassure there’s something healthy, delicious, and vegan Filipino for you and your guests. Kain na, let’s eat!
