Happy Holidays from Astig Vegan!
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season with your loved ones. Thank you so much for reading, watching, and supporting Astig Vegan. I hope you have enjoyed all the posts from 2015 and from previous years.
For the holidays, I’ve made and served vegan Spaghetti, Putobumbong, and Bibingka as well as homemade gifts for relatives and friends. I’ve attended a fun cocktail party with friends where all the food was vegan and delicious. We did a White Elephant game and I got garden pruning shears (perfect for my new year’s resolution to garden more).
Everyone was in town including my sisters so we did our annual holiday mani/pedi (I brought my own vegan nail polish), exchanged holidays gifts, did a Christmas holiday theme contest among the Enriquez clan (my family dressed up as the Nativity and we won!) and of course ate and laughed to our heart and tummy’s content. Tomorrow, we’re off to our annual Reno trip with the nephews and nieces. Here’s to hoping for snow but friendly driving conditions.
