If you’re feeling kind and generous this holiday season (though I’m sure you are all year round
), please help my friends at No Worries Cuisine get their food truck rockin’ and rollin’. With your donation, you could help put Vegan Filipino Food on the map and all over it!

Thanks in advance and I hope your holiday season is going great!
Had Filipino food for the first time the other day at a Filipino Christmas party, there was only two things i could eat as the peeps weren’t vegan, but what i did have was AWESOME!
Cool! I’m curious to know what you had. Do you remember the names?
nope, I’ll ask my step mum, she’s Filipino but not a cook, so never had anything Filipino before but she will obviously know what it was. One of the things was made out of rice flour spongey and tasty thing made with coconut milk? They had some with mung beans in the middle that were coated in caramel and sesame seeds, but I didn’t have any of those.
Gotcha! Yeah most of our rice desserts are vegan because we usually use coconut milk instead of dairy. You must be talking about biko (bee-koh), I featured its recipe here, feel free to make it. The mung beans are probably sesame balls or “boochee” balls, they’re vegan and yummy too.
Awesome, im defo gonna make them at some point, maybe take them round to my step mums cause she don’t cook so a little taste of home might be nice for her.
That’s very thoughtful. I’m sure she’ll be delighted.
